1. For Polytechnic Engineering (PE) Course:

   • Age Limit: There is no specific age limit for this course.

2. For Part-Time Polytechnic Engineering (PPE) Course:

   • Qualification: Same as for PE, but the candidates should be employed in a government or private organization with at least one year of full-time work experience.

3. For Paramedical (PM) Course:

   • Qualification: Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects.
   • Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 15 years as of December 31 of the admission year.

4. For Para Medical Dental (PMD) Course:

   • Qualification: Same as for PM course.

Exam Pattern

1. The Bihar Polytechnic Entrance Exam is divided into two parts: Part A and Part B.
2. Part A includes questions from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, General Science, and General Knowledge.
3. Part B includes questions based on the candidate's subject of choice (Engineering, Paramedical, etc.).

Admission Process
